FEDVOSA celebrate Sir J A EBAM as FGC Vandeikya turns 25

Well, after I heard this phrase "some people are born to be great" I realize that yes, it is true that there are people who are born great….but besides that there are also ordinary people who achieve greatness after a great effort as well and become great people just like those who were born great. Not just that, there are also people who becomes great by having greatness thrust upon them….That’s why there is no need to feel ashamed of ourselves coz we are definitely great, if it’s not for some people, then we must be great for others.

Therefore, it is clear that each and everyone of us are great people…no matter where and when we earn that greatness….born great, achieve greatness, or having greatness thrust open us. In my opinion, being a great person doesn’t mean he/she has to be known by the whole world,….being a great person means being somebody who can bring great/useful things for him/herself and for his/her environment.

Those mentioned above is just in my point of view, so you can agree or disagree with my opinion.
Mr EBAM, the disciplinarian was the second principal, FGC Vandeikya. He had all the attributes that makes one a good principal, and having a good team made things very easy for him during his time at FGCV. With the experience he had having been principal of FGC Ikom, Mr Ebam knew what he was in for. No wonder after retirement, he was appointed the chairman SUBEB in Cross River State. The only person that move around freely in the male hostel, and can arrest a student in the hostel.
He brought stability in the management of college community.
I remember the 2006 experience, when more than 50 students were suspended indefinitely, that brought some level of calmness on the school environment. Mr Ebam served the Federal government in different capacities.
As we celebrating FGC Vandeikya @25 today, your contributions in protecting and preserving the vaules and intent that brought about unity schools.

How Mrs Patricia Ashi Aondoakaa is in the eye of FGC Vandeikya college community

As our all-time role model and mother, Late Mrs PA Aondoakaa,  I give God the glory for her life.
She touched our lives positively and her legacies shall continue to be remembered by all of us, who are the direct beneficiaries of her motherliness and selfless dedication to impacting quality education and moral rectitude on us all.
Without any fear of contradiction, I can boldly say that PA Aondoakaa has no equal among all those who passed through (Federal Government College, Vandeikya (FGCV), as principals, teachers or non academic staff. It’s not just because she was the pioneer principal. Should I explain my personal experience to buttress my belief.
A disciplinarian, who believed in using only the carrot without the stick and yet achieved astounding results. We all respected her without fear because she was so motherly and humble that one didn’t need to fear her. At the same time, one wouldn’t think of disobeying her.
fgcvandeikya.comAs we celebrate FGC Vandeikya come 23rd November 2019, I want to remind us who our pioneer principal and mentor was.
Let’s all celebrate her and keep praying to the Almighty God to make our leaders emulate these exemplary qualities of an extraordinary, selfless leader. May her soul continue to rest in peace. Amen
